Short Information:Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)had released the official notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) – Para Medical including Pharmacist, Radiographer, Operation Theater Technician and Dental Technician in Group C. The posts were temporary but likely to continue. The total number of vacancies notified to be filled was 30. Eligible candidates applied for these posts from 20 May 2023 to 18 June 2023. The PET/PST Examination date has been confirmed which is scheduled to be held on 29 September 2023. Admit Card for the same has been made available on the website which link is given below. Eligible candidates can download their admit cards for the PET/PST examination.
SSB ASI Paramedical Recruitment 2023Eligibility Details
ASI (Pharmacist)
10+2 with science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Should have a Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy granted by an institution of Central or State Government or an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Should be registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948).
ASI (Radiographer)
Should have passed 10+2 with science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Should have two years diploma in Radio diagnosis from an institution recognized by State Government or Central Government.
Not less than one year of experience in the Radiological department of a hospital of the Central Government or State Government or in a hospital recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
ASI (Operation Theater Technician)
Should have passed 10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Should have a Diploma in Operation Theatre Technician or certificate in Operation Theatre Assistant cum Central Sterile supply Assistant training course from a recognized Institution.
Not less than two years of experience as an operation theatre technician from a reputed hospital.
ASI (Dental Technician)
10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Should have two years Diploma in Dental Hygienist Course recognized by Central/State Government or Dental Council of India.
One year experience as a Dental Technician in a reputed hospital.
